      Our Goal: Scaling with Soul

At Kraftshala, we are building the largest career launchpad the world has ever seen.

The first chapter of our story runs till the stroke of midnight on 15th August 2047. By then, we aim to become the first educational institution in the world to verifiably place 20,000 graduates every year.

Why does this matter? Because the political freedom India won in 1947 only becomes real when it translates into financial freedom for our people today.

If you have grown up never worrying about how this month’s bills will be paid, it’s hard to imagine the daily anxiety of those who do. Without stable income, every dream gets postponed, every long term plan shelved.

To achieve financial freedom, any young professional should have:

      • A stable source of income
      • Career optionality

That’s what higher education should deliver. Not just degrees or certificates, but jobs that can open even more doors in the future, setting up graduates for sustained career success.

While India is blessed to have many well-intentioned educational institutions, most stop short of solving the employability problem at scale. The prevailing wisdom in our industry is: placements don’t scale, so let’s just sell “prestige” to grow further. This is why their ads suggest things like: “Get XYZ alumni status”, or “Get a degree from ABC university”, etc.

We understand where they are coming from.

We have chosen a different path: Scaling with Soul. We obsess over placement metrics, not enrollment numbers or valuations. Our singular belief is that every individual who’s committed can be placed.

      What We have Proven

Since 2020, across various economic cycles (COVID waves, slowdowns, hiring freezes), we have placed 94%+ of over 2,700 graduates. Batch after batch. Program after program. Average salaries have risen year on year. Outcomes have held steady or improved.

And not just for the obvious candidates. Our graduates include:

      • Priyanaka Singla – An 18-year-old without a college degree, now running digital campaigns.
      • Shoaib Islam – A man who barely spoke English, now leading campaigns.
      • Annesha Dasgupta – From watching her father fight for life while drowning in debt, to fighting her way into digital marketing.
      • Abdul Afreed – A student fighting all financial odds, building himself with confidence and landing at Razorpay .

These aren’t edge cases. They are proof that with the right support system, anyone can cross into financial freedom.

      The Cost of Obsession

Innovation looks glamorous on TED Talk stages. In reality, it’s painful to execute. It requires designing admissions, training, and placement processes that are often counter-intuitive, operationally complex, and with high chances of failure. In essence, it means making choices that make our life super-hard in the short run. In

However, in the long run, obsession over student outcomes is what builds trust- with students, their families, recruiters, our own team and the broader ecosystem, leading to amazing outcomes for everyone. This is what Scaling with Soul is all about: adding more value to every stakeholder everyday we get bigger.

      Where We are Headed

We know we can’t fix the entire problem of India’s higher education on our own. But we can make the impact big enough to reset the benchmark for what higher education is expected to deliver.

No university in history has consistently placed more than 5,000 graduates a year. We are currently at 650/ year, and gunning to hit 20,000/ year by 2047.

That target is audacious by design. Most will see it as impossible.

We are not looking for most. We are looking for the few who believe a better future is possible, and are excited to do the best work of their lives to make that future a reality. An impact that will outlast them.

If that’s you, we welcome you to join our tryst with destiny.
